I collected shells and tried really hard not to stand on hermit crabs, there are absolutely thousands of them! And the beach is just scattered with bits of coral as well. It's really lovely (when you ignore the building site next to it and the stench of the Gulf) and very nice to just get out of the flat and not be near people like you are at the Palms.
