Today is my dearest girl's birthday, and we're very far apart (although probably not as far apart as we will be for her next birthday, we both like to go places) but after ringing her this morning (no answer damn her) and ringing her tonight (best conversation ever) I know that no matter where in the world we are we'll always have a conversation on her birthday and it will always be the sort of conversation that keeps me going and happy until the next time I see/speak to her.
Some friends lift us up even when they don't realise it (and especially with K, when you're meant to be the one lifting them up!)
So here's a special post for the friends who keep us going, no matter where in the world they are.
